As a small child I’d love to trace over wallpaper on my bedroom walls. I’d trace whatever was up at the time and then add more colours and (if needed)more detail! On childhood summer days picking flower tops and wonderful-smelling blossoms from flowering trees, I’d then mix them in a bowl and add some water to make a fragrance, making up names based on the colours of the flowers. Like“redwhite”:Simple but effective in my child’s mind. In school most kids would’ve said recess was the best part of school. Not me:Art class was my love! I felt I could do what I had to do. My brain went to a place of acceptance: no stress or peer pressure or anything else going on that day. I was completely in flow on whatever task I had been assigned . It was a room full of opportunities!

I live in Hamilton,Ontario. I am a wife and a mother of an adult son.

I’ve been fortunate to have a series of careers where I could use some creativity.

Now I have a wonderful career as an artist…my work is all about me showing you how I see!

â—¦ I invite you to enjoy my art how you see it!
